I find that when I create paintings I'm always dealing with the subject of relationships. Relationships to me are a mosaic of past experiences, expectations, hopes, promises and dreams and commitment. However, this painting Make Up Just to Break Up, is a love song about people who truly love each other but can't keep the pieces together. It's a fracture in various domains that make up a good relationship. This fracture doesn't mean they will break up completely but must take care of the fault lines to make it work.
